There is so much going on!!!! Every week there is something to look forward to around here! This weekend the Oak Park Art League is having their annual Huge Art Sale. This is the time of year to bring work that needs to move. The art is PRICED TO SELL! The event was spectacular for me last year. Bright Olive Art Lab’s Bryan Northup , Jenny Tiner, Olivia Tiner, Twisted Sisters and Noa Baron will have work available. If you are an artist interested in selling come to the hanging party tonite, become a member (small fee) and get your work moving! If you become a member you can participate in a lot of shows this year! This isn’t the only opportunity you will have!

Since we are gearing up for the next show, “Anatomy-Re-imagined” (which you still can submit to be juried into by e-mailing me) so we need the work from our “Art in Nature” exhibition that didn’t move to work it’s way into the world!!!!! About half of the pieces are still available and will most likely be inside unless the forecast changes. Remember, PRICED TO SELL!!
UPDATE: What’s Blooming on Harrison is getting close! May 25 and 26 are two days packed with art, musicians, food and fun for the family or the art collector, it is quite the event. It is a yearly festival, if you want to be a vendor, get in quick!!!!! We are almost to our max, it is such a successful, fun art driven event!

We are still accepting enrollment for kids camp this summer! We have added apprenticeships and intensives! They are great programs for the teens that wanna get outta the house and away from the parents;) Again, sign up quick, they fill up quick. Oak Park artists are working on our sculptures and teaming up with Highland Park for the Magic Garden Walk. Many butterflies will be on display during What’s Blooming on Harrison. This is a spectacle not to be missed. They are absolutely gorgeous.
